Still the greatest studio musicians that ever lived and the face that they left on music changed the music world .... literally
Great movie 🎥 Wow that is the best ❤loved it to the End! Thanks for sharing 🥰💐❤️
Awesome music by awesome musicians, wish I could have seen it live!
Boots is an ass
I'm only part way through this video from '06, but I'm enjoying these talented musicians enjoying what they do. R I P to the talented people on this who have since passed on.
Interesting/informative.entertaining.. Enjoy viewing the pick ups & trailers/horse auctioneer/dress of that era. A wonderfully family oriented movie-!!!🤗.
This is an example of what a "groove" sounds like
Thankyou so much . What a great video for all time. So much talent. Thanks again !!!
A very moving film.
The movie is about angry voices
I had watched this one years ago--very good movie.
Never liked Holden's pictures, until this one. Got me. Wonderful acting. Great story line.
This move is too good to be true what a gem A MUST WATCH if you love horse racing !!!!
Has-been agent Boots Malone (William Holden) is dodging his creditors and living on the edge of the horse racing world when wealthy teenager Tommy Gibson (Johnny Stewart) asks Malone to take him under his wing as a jockey-in-training. While trying to stay one step ahead of Matson (Hugh Sanders), a well-connected gambler he owes money to, Malone and his partner, Stash (Stanley Clements), introduce the idealistic Tommy to the seedy underbelly of horse racing, where cons and tricks rule. Initial release: January 11, 1952
😊
What a marvelous film! Thank you so much @SandyMacLeod for posting it!
😎Well Done!!! 👍👍
Absolutely spectacular. Dawn Sears is so wonderful 😊😊
Wow! Fantastic Movie! Thank you for posting. How did I ever miss this black and white! ♥️♥️♥️
Excellent film. Great story line, script and top notch cast.
Dawn Sears was the best female country siger ever .in my book ❤😢
Dawn Sears had such a beautiful voice. First time ever heard her was when she was singing backup on Vince Gill's Just Say Hello. And what more can you say about John Huey
Yesterday saw William Holden in "Stalag 13." Terrific!!
Top 5 all time leading man, Holden on the list
Pu Mona , armpit of the inland empire. Per Henry the blade Robles of Torrance

Who is the fiddler on stool?
That is Aubrey Haynie.
Does anyone know the track list?
GREAT film.....thanksalot. Good knowing Johnny Stewart is still among us at 88 today
terrific acting by Stewart, watched for 12th time supporting cast superb...Preacher Cole one of the best Basil was an opera star,
Good old country music at it's BEST~!~ John Huey the very best pedal steel player! RIP!
Dawm Sears sounds a lot like, and has certain mannerisms of the great Connie Smith. She’s awesome!
Every time that I hear these “studio magicians” It just blows my mind that people like that who know what they wanted to do and went for. Me I can’t make up my mind what to have for breakfast. Imagine how good they could be if they just practiced a little more.😂 Big fan of country family reunion. The only problem with that is that the stage keeps getting a little emptier each year. Rest in peace to all those that have passed.
Great comment you made here! It's all about love,,, in order to do ANYTHING well,, you MUST love what you want to do in order to excel at it! I'm an example myself,, when I decided to learn to play guitar. I had early on listened to a few guitarists, Dickey Betts (Allman Brothers!), Johnny Winter, Robben Ford, and Larry Carlton~!~ Once I heard them play guitar, that was it~!~ I would get goosebumps listening to Dickey Betts, and especially Larry Carlton~!~ I still get the chills listening to Larry, and Dickey play~!~ And so, the love began~!~ 40 years on, and I can play with musicians like the Time Jumpers, and jazz bands/quartet's ~!~ When I play people always tell me the same things:" Wow you gave me the chills",, "Your playing is so sweet and emotional", " You have such a unique style". It's all about LOVE~!~ PICK YOUR FAVORITE THING THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY,,, AND STICK TO IT LIKE ~GLUE~!!!!! Good luck to you~!~
